The settings page in LeadForce360 allows you to customize your lead generation preferences, primarily focusing on your carrier and location settings. These settings help ensure that the leads you receive are relevant to your business and avoid conflicts with existing clients or carrier restrictions. Here's a guide to configuring your settings.
1. Carrier Settings
Captive vs. Independent Agent: Begin by selecting whether you're a captive agent (working with a single carrier) or an independent agent (working with multiple carriers). This setting is crucial for determining how leads are filtered based on the carriers you're associated with.
Carrier-Level Exclusions:
If you're with a specific carrier, such as Farmers, you can set carrier exclusions. For example, if we identify a lead who already holds a Farmers policy, we will automatically exclude them from your lead pool. This ensures that you're not contacting individuals who already have policies with your carrier, which can be important for captive agents bound by carrier rules.
This exclusion applies to all entities within the carrier group (e.g., Truck, Fire Exchange), ensuring that no leads connected to your carrier are contacted on your behalf.
Why It’s Important: This feature helps prevent conflicts that may arise from reaching out to existing policyholders of your carrier and stepping on other agents toes.
2. Location Settings
Localized Leads: Although this option may currently be greyed out, it will soon allow you to set geographic preferences for the leads you receive. Even if you don’t specify strict geographic requirements, LeadForce360 tries to send you leads that are as localized as possible.
Why It’s Important: If geography is important to your business, this setting will help you focus on leads that are closer to your location, improving your chances of closing deals by working with local clients.
Summary of Settings
Carrier Settings: Select your carrier and activate exclusions to avoid leads connected to your current carrier, especially if you're a captive agent.
